#247; Product Review - FaceShop Eyeshadow in Toast

It has been ages since I have done a product review and here is one! I did promise a product review a week but with so many project dateline, I really couldn't find enough time to get one done. Now that I have cleared some of my workload, I have decided to go back to my impending product reviews :3

So here you go! Today, I will be reviewing the Face Shop Eyeshadow in Toast.

I gotten this from The Face Shop in Malaysia and it costed me about $9 for one. I gotten two and you can see the other shade, here. Actually seen them in Singapore but I forgotten how much they cost here, but if you love this review, you might check it out and get one for yourself~

When I first saw the range of eyeshadow that The Face Shop has to offer, I was so tempted to get most of them! Mainly because the packaging is so cuteeee~ They even have a mustache one! *screams* The Face Shop Eyeshadow in Toast has two cowboy hats on the front of its transparent packaging and is a small square which makes it easy to tote around!

I gotten this shade because it reminds me of a shade in the Urban Decay Naked Palette (I absolutely adore the new Naked Basics!). Above is the swatch of the eyeshadow. It is a very buildable shade of  brown that goes on smooth and a little sheer. Notice how there is a little shimmer (mostly fine glitter) that gives your eyes a bit of sparkle yet still appear matte at the same time! Love it!

And here is my bare eyes without any eye makeup and NO eyeshadow! I'm wearing I.Fairy Ash brown lenses. I like to put a light pink or white eyeshadow before I layer on the color that I want on my eye lids. But for the sake of this review, I decided to skip the base color and just put "Toast" on my eyelids.

My eyes with The Face Shop Eyeshadow in Toast. You can see the difference from the one without eyeshadow and the one with eyeshadow! It goes on really really natural and you really can't see the fine glitters at all! It goes on matte and this eyeshadow is great for an everyday look. In fact, I use to just use powder foundation -> Eyeliner and then just head straight to school. But now that I have this, I stop being lazy and use powder foundation -> Eyeshadow -> Eyeliner. So you can see how much I love this.

In terms of color payoff, it looks very natural. If you want a more obvious shade of brown, this wouldn't be recommended for you. But if you want a sheer and natural look, Toast would be your best bet. Also, if you are hiao enough, you could wear this to school to make your eyes a little less dull (Secondary school students). LOL.

The best thing about The Face Shop eyeshadow in Toast, is that it is buildable and if you wanted a little more color, you could put on more on your eyelids. Too pretty!

Me with my full makeup on! I haz weirdly drawn eyebrows.
I would definitely repurchase this again because it is affordable and portable. It is also a favorite in my makeup bag, so what's not to love about this?
