#349; Ere Perez Real Rosehip Lipbar in Life

I first gotten the Ere Perez Real Rosehip Lipbar, from my very first Bellabox subscription. And I have been using this on and off before deciding that I need to do a review on this! Since then, I have stopped my Bellabox subscription because it was getting a tad bit disappointing. And also because I have picked up an expensive collection of Pandora and was getting pretttyy broke :/

This is in the shade Life which is a pretty vibrant red shade - one of my favorite shades.
And boasts itself as being SPF15, fragrance free, cruelty free and suitable for vegans!
The product is in a very simple and clean cut lipstick tube and surprisingly it is a tinted lip balm.
It is also fashioned like a lipstick, unlike similar products that are in a squeeze tube.

I have to say that this didn't quite appeal to my inner girl because of the nondescript packaging but I like how it exudes a touch of elegance.

Swatches on my hands, labelled it accordingly.
As seen, the tinted lip balm has only a tinge of red once applied and remains true to its color even with one swipe versus three swipes. It is of course much more build-able once you go through it a few more times.

My lips have been looking super chapped recently because of a bad experience with a sugar scrub ._.
Plus a very drying matte lipstick.
Ugly pucker.

And then after application!
Could it be?! My lips looks much more soft and moisturized.
The tinted lip balm also adds a touch of coral color to it so that it looks more healthy and make me look less sickly.

Sorry, I cannot resist a selfie.
Look how pretty my lip is. Compared with the first ugly chapped lips just by applying the Ere Perez Real Rosehip Lipbar. It makes my lips look glossed when it is just a lip balm.
Do I love it so far, yes!

Because of the lipstick shape, it is so easy to apply to the inner corners of my lips and I can be sure that the product is evenly spread throughout.
The Ere Perez Rosehip Lipbar never fails to amaze me and I don't know why I didn't continue to use this in my day to day routine.

Applying my go-to lipstick and I am all set to go.
I'm using the Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm and it has to be one of the most moisturizing lipstick I have ever used! Which explains why I didn't keep reaching out for my Ere Perez Rosehip Lipbar.

However, since my lips are really chapped and dry, I will definitely be using this way more often!

The product has no fragrance and does not irritate my lips.

Another selfie okay, please indulge me?

I have no qualms about this, other than the fact that the packaging is plastic and pretty flimsy. The silver wordings on the packaging is prone to scratches making it just a white lipstick tube which borderlines on looking "cheap". The price for this 4.5g of product is at a hefty $31.30 on the Bellabox shop, so I am not impressed with the packaging.

Other than that, it functions well as a tinted lip balm does and keeps my lips chapped free and moisturized throughout the day. Because of its' tinted nature, I find it hard to wear this on those days I want to have no makeup on at all. My best bet for this occasion would be, to turn to my normal lip balm.

There are other tinted lip balms that works just as well as the Ere Perez Rosehip Lipbar, but if this appeals to you because of the cruelty-free and suitable for vegans, then give this a try!
For me, I will just stick to my childish Chuppa Chups lip balm :x

The Bellabox shop stocks this in a wide array of shades and you can view them here!
Let me know down below if you would give this a try, or like me, you have other cheaper alternatives to turn to!

Stay Beautiful,
Amanda Misaki Sea
