#350; Rave&Fav - Fujifilm Instax Share SP-1

When I first saw the ads for the Fujifilm Instax Share SP-1, I went crazy. I had to have it and I needed it so much. Not having a polaroid only justify my need for it on another level.
I was working and had some money saved up so I decided to gift myself the new polaroid printer as a treat for graduating from Polytechnic and entering a new phase of my new life.

It was also a memorable gift because I can print memories to keep! :D

I haven't used this in a long time because I didn't had the time to hunt for cheap films but... OMGAWD.

They have a polaroid films vending machine near my school and the films are sooo cheap. This Rilakkuma I love gyu film only cost me $9.90! :D

More about the Fujifilm Instax Share SP-1 printer!
I am not delving into technicalities but this polaroid printer is pretty easy to figure out.
With LED to indicate the number of films left as well as the charge left on your handy printer, the whole outlook is sleek and can be easily carried along on trips/outings.

Flip the Instax Share SP-1 printer over and you will get a back flap where you can load your films just like a normal polaroid camera. Pop the new film in and you're all set to go!

Perhaps the only drawback on this is that the back flap comes out easily and you waste a lot of film...Like I wasted more than 4 films because I tote this around in my bag and some stuff in my bag snag it open.
BUT!
Nothing a Instax Share SP-1 printer case couldn't fix. The case prevents this problem but I haven't yet laid my hands on it :x

The Instax Share SP-1 runs on CR2 batteries which in my opinion are so small and expensive! But it is worth it as I bought them along with the printer some time in June and they have yet to run out of battery.
In fact, they are showing a full charge of 3!

The Polaroid that is to be printed will come out from this tiny flap and the power button is next to it.
So really, it is super simple to use and operate!
To print photos however, you will need the Fujifilm instax share app which is available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The Fujifilm Instax Share SP-1 printer app has a very simple interface and takes up little space on your phone.
You can choose to reprint the photo, choose which photo to print or take a photo from your gallery but what fascinated me the most was how you can actually print photo from Instagram! :p

The app also allows you to apply filters, add headers or text to make it more special and personalized! :D
I am going to find a good photo so I can print out the Halloween one.
After editing your photo, all you have to do is connect to your printer and print!
I like how it has its own Wi-Fi, so you can bring it out and not be afraid that you will need to find a network before you can print photos!

The results!
I don't like to put headers and stuff on my polaroid because it is already very small :x

All the photos I printed so far!
I have more in my room and on my table and I swear I need an album soon.
It makes for a good gadget to have to store memories because you definitely won't waste films from ugly photos plus you can reprint to share with your friends!

Becareful of the exposure of your photos though! :x Mine got a little bit overexposed

You can get the Fujifilm Instax Share SP-1 printer from TheCameraWise although you can search through carousell for even better deal! At the time, the printer was just launched and I couldn't wait :x oops.

I hope you like this review!

Much love,
Amanda Misaki Sea
