#357; Benefit - Do the Bright Thing!

Here is another new product review that I have been procrastinating! I first gotten this last year after mummy dearest gifted me a bunch of Sephora vouchers. Since then, I am in love with Benefit products!

Here it is! The benefit - Do the Bright Thing kit.
They have many kit and I had a hard time choosing but I finally settled on this because its' a total face makeup kit!
This can be bought at Benefit boutiques and Sephora outlets.

I like how the boxes are designed so intricately.
The packaging has tiny flowers and butterflies printed on the interior of the box. So pretty!

The Benefit Do the Bright Thing kit comes packaged in a book-like box and the items are in their own little designated corner with numbers around the corner. This allows you to follow the tips and tricks included in the kit.
In fact, all different box kits contain a tips and trick booklet to teach you how to make use of all the different makeup!

The Do the Bright Thing kit also comes with a sizeable mirror so that you can touch up or bring it along when you are travelling! Super convenient for the upcoming holidays and perfect for a gift if you are celebrating the Christmas season!

My only qualms about this, is that it is pretty heavy even though the travel sized products you get, do not weigh that much. I would attribute the unwanted weight to that of the box, although it can be good if you are packing this in your luggage and want to prevent breakages.

A closer look at the things that you will get!

First up would be the "that gal" brightening face primer which is quite popular in their range of products.
This travel sized packaging contains 7.5ml of product and I have used it for quite a while.
I find that it does keep my makeup intact for longer period of time and make my face looks brighter and fresher while still retaining that natural pinkish glow.
The product is a salmon pink although when blended well, the face primer blends in with your natural skin tone.

This has a grape scent and causes a little bit of pore clogging, so it is recommended for you to cleanse properly after a long day!

The second product is the dandelion blusher which comes with a fine brush.
The blusher is built into the box although it is possible to depot the blusher if you have the skills!
This is a perfect shade of rosy pink and is very elegant.

The third item is the benefit high beam which is a highlight to add that extra glow to your skin!
This makes your face looks extra glowy and fresh and accentuate your facial features.
I have yet to try this but there is very fine pearly glitters in this product.

Besides all the face makeup that you will get, the Do the Bright Thing kit comes with a Bad gal liner which proves to be waterproof. The tiny pencil is really convenient although I wish the kit also contains a sharpener for when the tip of the liner goes blunt.

Last thing in the box will be Benefit's really famous they're Real! mascara!
I actually love this so much that I gotten the full sized mascara and will do a separate review on that sometime soon.

All in all, this box kit is a really convenient and pretty kit to have in your collection and especially so, if you are an avid traveler. I like how thoughtful the box is, to put in a tiny eyeliner and mascara to pull off your whole look and make sure you look your best even if you are travelling. Definitely save some space in your makeup pouch because you don't have bring full sized items.

However, for its' price, it gets a little pricey if you are considering the fact that you are getting five travel sized product. I can't remember how much I got it for but it should be $59?

What do you think?
Would you get this or would you try their other benefit kits!
Let me know down below!

Stay beautiful!
