#358; Sleek Oh So Special Palette Swatches

Hello! Sorry for the short hiatus as I am currently in my cave, preparing for the exams :/
Finally found time to blog a short first impression and swatch review on the Sleek MakeUp Oh So Special Eyeshadow Palette.

This was hauled at the same time as the Sleek Makeup faceForm contour and blush palette that I swatched in this blog post and both products are bought from Luxola which is a beauty and makeup online shop! *throws confetti*

The Sleek MakeUp i-Divine oh so special palette is one in the many many eyeshadow palettes offered by Sleek MakeUp! There are other different palette and themes to suit all your fancy although I always play save by getting a neutral/pink based like this palette!

This a mineral based eye shadow palette and I was really excited to unbox this although this would make the nth palette I have in my makeup stash :x

At the back of the packaging, you get a few steps to using the various shades in the palette and the ingredients list.

The signature Sleek MakeUP packaging that is matte black.
Because of its very slim packaging, this is definitely a travel friendly product that doesn't take up a lot of space but still has everything that you need.

Unlike the smaller Sleek Makeup faceForm palette, the clasp on the palette is really hard to pry open!
*whyyyyy*

In the palette, you will get 12 beautiful shades of pink, brown and even black.
You also get a duo-ended applicator which I never find myself reaching out for.
But what tickled my fancy would be the fact that this has a really huge mirror that is super clear! Like this is a perfect product to bring everywhere!

A clear film protects the eyeshadow and on it is the names for the various shades.

I am trying to fall in love with pink shades and the pink toned eyeshadow in this is really soft and definitely very wearable as compared to my hot pink shadow from Etude House :x

The palette has six matte shades and six fine shimmery shades which makes it very balanced and can be used for a more formal event or event a girls' night out event.

The lighter pinks and brown.
Lets move on to the swatches!

I have labelled the shades accordingly so it is easier to reference to that on the palette.
I like how there is two different base color that you can use - Bow or Pamper.

On the top row: Bow is a cream-white color, Organza is a sheer shimmer rose pink while Ribbon is a matte salmon pink with slightly orange tones.
On the bottom row: Pamper is a very pale pastel pink, while Gateau is a purplish pink shimmer and The Mail is a matte light brown.

Under normal room lighting.
Gateau really looks purplish-pink here and I really love how pigmented it is!
The only shade that is a little of a disappointment in the first six shades would be Pamper.
Notice how flaky and chalky it is that it accentuates my ahem...wrists hair. :/
I imagine how my eyelid creases will look with only this shade...

The browns and darker shades.
These shades remind me a little of my Naked shades and I really gotta try them out some time soon!
Hopefully, I might find dupes!

The swatches under harsh lighting.
On the left: Boxed is a matte dark chocolate shade, wrapped up is a medium toned brown while Noir is a black matte shade.
On the right: Gift basket is a very pretty brown that looks a bit golden, Glitz is a metallic silver and Celebrate is a dark shimmery brown with a few red fine glitter.

Of these six shades, I love Gift basket and celebrate the most as the two shades are the most pigmented and prettiest shades :>

Under normal room lighting.
Wrapped up would have to be the most disappointing shades out of the bunch because it isn't as pigmented as it looks and applies on pretty unevenly as seen in the swatches.

So far, I have started using this palette and it is fast making it into my list of favorites for its versatility (day and night look, neutral and dramatic look).
Overall, I would rate this a 4/5!

You can get the Sleek MakeUP i-Divine Oh So Special Palette from Luxola at this link for $22!
For purchases above $10, Luxola gives out free shipping so... YES, YES, YES to buying this!

Would you buy this palette or is there other Sleek MakeUP i-Divine palette on your wishlist!
Do leave me a comment because I would loveee to know~

Stay Beautiful,
Amanda Misaki Sea
