#389; Advertorial - Palmer's Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion

I will start this blog post off by saying that I don't like putting on lotion at all. I don't like getting my hands greasy and don't like the sticky feeling that ensues after the lotion is rubbed onto my skin. So when I first gotten the Palmer's Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion, I was so so so sure I would dislike it. Below is my honest review about the Palmer's lotion I received as a courtesy from the Sample Store :)

It is supposedly summer and the weather is getting more humid. So these are my new essentials for the warm, humid weather. My skin and lips get really dry during the month of May and June and I want a lotion which is never greasy and all the qualities as stated in my little rant above.

A little background about the brand:
Palmer is a renowned brand and it is founded really long ago. A lot of people have loved the formula and quality of products produced by Palmer's. Even I have heard of Palmer's because growing up, I had a lot of scars from falling down or cuts and their oil promises to reduce scar! Their key ingredients include Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and they are
against animal testing and all of the products are cruelty free.

A TVC as a little inside information of the formula created by Palmer's. I have to say that my scars are less visible after using the oil (forgot the exact name) but it takes a long time for the scars to heal.

When I first gotten the Palmer's Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion, I was shocked at how huge the bottle is. I never seen a spray lotion in my life. And I never seen a lotion bottle this big.

Printed on the can are the claims of it being "fast absorbing, non-greasy and does not stain". Reading the pamphlet about this product, I found out that this provide 24 hour moisture to your skin, is paraben and phthalate free and the RapidSorb Technology allows the lotion to be absorbed into your skin really quickly.

I know that not all products work the same on everyone and I also know that I am probably the pickiest person when it comes to lotion.

Here is the advertorial for Palmer's Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion and their brand ambassador is none other than.... Sonia Sui. I love her to bits and pieces cause I think she is super pretty... Like really. After watching her act in shows, she really is the most elegant lady I've ever seen.

Putting this to the test to see if everything Palmer's claim is true or false.

I think I have to point out this super cute and really handy thing.
To prevent accidental leakage when bringing this out, there is a lock mechanism on the cap of the bottle. This is when it is locked.

And just twist to unlock it, before you spritz on the lotion! Really good if you are bringing for travel or if you have naughty kids at home with itchy hands.

I took a before and after photo.
When I first spritz this on without thinking or even reading, I had a lot of white lotion residue on my hand. The proper way to use this is to hold the can 3-4 inches away and spray in a continuous motion, then rub it in. When you spritz, there shouldn't be white residue but instead, a thin shiny layer of lotion.

When I first sprayed this on, I was visibly shocked at how cooling this was until I read the bottle and realized I got the instant cooling spray moisturizer. Even better for the warm weather. And then the smell hit me, super good smelling cocoa butter which is a superfood for your skin and makes your skin supple and soft.

Now, is it greasy? Does it live up to its hype?
YES. It isn't greasy at all. It looks greasy but after you rub it in, the product absorbs really quickly into your skin and leaves it feeling smooth without the oily, greasy lotion feeling. The after is a soft glowy healthy skin which smells fantastic.

I think this is the only lotion that I will ever continue to use.
Because it lives up to its expectations, it is super fast to spritz on and just go. And because it cools my skin.

The cons: This is a huge bottle! Not really travel sized friendly if you are the kind to frequent the airport. And the cocoa butter smell can be a bit overwhelming at first but slowly fades to a tolerable chocolately smell which is really good. The price can be a little pricey for students but affordable for working adults.

All in all, I would really recommend this to my mumsy who loves lotion with a passion and to anyone else who have a problem with dry scratchy skin.

There are three types of spray lotion:
Palmer’s Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion (Cocoa/Shea) – For deep moisturising
Palmer’s Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion (Aloe) – For instant cooling
Palmer’s Stretch Mark Spray Lotion – For reducing the appearance of stretch marks

And they are available for purchase at Watsons, Guardian, Fairprice, BHG, Robinsons, John Little and leading cosmetic stores. It retails for S$17.90/200g bottle.

Pretty decent price because of how convenient this is and how fast you can get out of your house but still moisturize.

This product deserves 3 yas out of five.
