#422; Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow - The Epiphany

After trying and loving the Bare Minerals blusher, I decided to splurge on a tiny eyeshadow duo when I was in Malaysia. This is the bareMinerals eyeshadow duo in "The Epiphany" and as always, the packaging is a sleek black rubberized matte case that is prone to fingerprints and trapping dust.

In the Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow duo in The Epiphany, the two shades that are inside are "A-Ha" and "Foreshadow". The two names are a play on words to the whole epiphany theme and its really cute! Quirky but cute. A definite combination.

In this duo, there is 2.7g of product and it comes with a sizeable mirror as well as an eyeshadow applicator.

A-Ha is a glitter taupe shade and foreshadow is a matte solid brown that is perfect for the crease.

Onto the swatches, the first swatch is one swipe and the second swatch is three swipes.
For foreshadow, it is matte and thus, one swipe barely picks up anything. It is pretty dry and powdery but stays on all day. While A-ha has really good pigmentation with just one swipe, it can be build up to a very solid taupe brown that is glittery and very very pretty in real life.

My fav combination of the two is A-ha all over the lids and foreshadow on the crease.
This is over primer and I absolutely love how the two shadows go so well together.
These are long lasting and there are no to minimal glitter fallout from A-ha!

And here is the best close-up shot of my makeup using the Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow in the epiphany. As per the swatches, A-ha was easy to work with while foreshadow needed a bit of building up in order to achieve a solid color. However, these are easy to blend and overall a really good duo for travel or for touch-up.

The Bare Minerals in the epiphany is a convenient duo that you will surely love. The colors can be worn for day to day or for a more smoky look (using foreshadow all over the lids). Either way, this duo can also double up as a venture to the more high-end makeup products for the beginners.

My makeup using the epiphany.
You can buy the Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow in the Epiphany at Sephora, where the brand is carried exclusively by them. I bought mine at Sephora KL for RM44 which is seriously a steal but it retails for much much more in Singapore.

So if this is on your wish list and you are heading to KL, do drop by to check it out!
Hopefully, there isn't much of a price increase due to the currency fluctuation!

What do you think of the Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow in the epiphany? Is it a splurge or a want?
In my opinion, this is definitely a splurge as Foreshadow is a shade that I may already have in my extensive collection of neutral palettes while A-ha is a taupe brown that may be easily replaced or duped. For the price point though, I cannot complain!
